Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Ideal baseball/softball shoes
I,ve purchased many pairs of baseball/softball cheats during my playing days. I believe these mizuno 9-spike blast cheats are the must comfortable baseball/softball cheats I have ever purchased. The mizuno 9-spike cheats are so popular, most of the guys on my current softball team are wearing a pair.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Rec League Softball
I needed a size 15 cleat for softball, and I found these. They are great on the field, and you can actually walk around on the street and drive with them on, too.

Also, I was happy to find that they fit great, as it can be hit or miss when ordering big shoes online. There are good supports inside - better than my Nike running shoes, actually.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "Must have" plastic spikes...
These are the best plastic spikes I have ever owned. The combination 9 spike/turf shoe gives outstanding traction on moderately damp fields. They are also, BY FAR, the most comfortable "out of the box" clete I have ever worn...meaning, they don't need time to be broken in. The first time you put them on, they're as comfortable as a soft leather tennis shoe. I have never bothered writing a review about cletes before, but these deserved the effort.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Softball Shoe
My team played in the Class C Nationals and many of the players from the top teams in the tournanment (all from California) were wearing these shoes. I was somewhat skeptical at first, because they have such low profile cleats. But now that I've purchased them, I absolutely love them. They're so light, it feels like you're not wearing anything. And the traction, which I thought might be an issue, has been great.

I wore Tanel 360, which I thought were great and would never buy another type of shoe. But the Mizunos surpassed my expectations and I won't be going back to the Tanels any time soon.

Tools and Hardware - Reviews

Sales of semiconductors in November indicate that consumer products such as LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs, digital music players, and other devices sold well during the holidays, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said Monday.

November chip sales rose 2.3 percent year-on-year to $23.1 billion, the SIA said.

Unit demand has far outpaced last year. But falling chip prices have hurt industry revenue, the chip association said. For example, DRAM (dynamic RAM) bit shipments grew 25 percent in the three months through mid-December, but average selling prices have declined 20 percent over the same period.

The association also noted that rising energy prices and concerns about the sub-prime lending issue in the U.S. do not appear to have had a significant impact on consumer spending for the holidays, the SIA said. The group reiterated its forecast that worldwide semiconductor sales will reach a new record in 2007. But it will take a stronger than expected December selling season to reach the 3.8 percent growth goal the group had forecast earlier this year, the SIA said.

Investment banking firm Credit Suisse was not as optimistic as the SIA.

The November data was below normal seasonal trends, noted analyst John Pitzer, in a report on Monday. Even if December reaches its normal seasonal growth, 2007 industry revenue will only reach $255.7 billion, up 3.2 percent over last year. The growth percentage would fall short of the SIA's 3.8 percent target.

The slow November prompted Credit Suisse to lower its 2008 chip industry revenue forecast to 9.4 percent year-on-year growth, down from a previous target of 13 percent.
