The balance is good, the grip is comfortable, fit and finish are of high quality. It arrived with a reasonable degree of cant between the blade and pommel. The bell is sturdy and wel shaped.

I'm a bit of a traditionalist, and the synthetic grip wrap is new to me. Overall, it's ok, but in gaining a degree of comfort, I think I might be losing a degree of sensitivity to the blade. Also, the more comfortable grip encourages a tighter grip; not a good thing. For newer fencers, I'd still recommend leather over wood.

A good practice sabre, and a reasonable price.
