Great jump rope
I jump rope for exercise, and the Valeo Speed Jump Rope works very well, much better than the soft rope I had before. The Valeo was a little long for my height (5'11"), but I had no trouble adjusting the length. Just pop the cap, move the retaining clip down with a pair of pliers, and cut off the excess.

I'm able to adjust the lenght easily.
This item is easy to adjust. Just remove the back Black Button and pull the Rubber and then Knot or cut to your appropriate size. That's it. It adjusted to smaller size. Hope it helps.

Does its job... with a few hiccups.
I'm not a pro jump roper or anything like that, but this jump rope seems to do its job well enough. The bearings in the handles work well, and make for a really fluid swing. There are two problems with the rope though;
While it's adjustable - it's not easily adjustable. I bought this rope with the hope that both my wife and me will be able to use the rope. She is 4'-11", I am 5'-8", obviously one rope wouldn't work well for the both of us. Nor does this rope; you can only really adjust it once, needing to crimp the cord to the new length. Instead we just pull the rope through the handle and hold onto the extra cord with the handle. Not ideal.
Also, the rope itself is not forgiving to your feet. When you really get your speed up, and happen to hit your foot with it, you will be hurting. It's a pretty hard rubber rope.
Nothing too major, I still really enjoy the rope.

Nice Rope, Easy to Adjust, Good Heft
This is a very nice rope, especially for the price, if you are looking for a ball-bearing speed rope. It has just the right weight for fast jumping
Although there are no instructions for adjustment, I found it easy to adjust this rope. Just pull the end cap off of the handle (I used a thin dime as a tool to pry it out), push the rope through the handle and tie a simple overhand knot in the rope where ever you like. Push the knot back into the handle and test the rope for length. (I'm short so I did this on both sides). Then trim the excess rope and pop the caps back onto the handles.
